Quantem MDM Release Notes – Q2 Sprint

June 29, 2026

At Quantem, we're continuously enhancing our Unified Endpoint Management platform to help IT teams manage devices more efficiently, strengthen security, and streamline day-to-day operations.

The Q2 Sprint introduces one of our biggest platform updates yet, featuring full macOS device management, powerful automation enhancements, improved Windows administration, Android reliability improvements, and significant performance optimizations across the platform.

🚀 Introducing macOS Device Management

Quantem now provides native macOS device management, allowing administrators to enroll, monitor, secure, and remotely manage Apple devices directly from the MDM console.

macOS Enrollment

Newly enrolled macOS devices are instantly visible within the console, giving administrators real-time insight into newly managed endpoints.

Script Management for macOS

Administrators can now automate routine administrative tasks using script management.

Key capabilities include:

  • Create and manage custom scripts
  • Execute scripts instantly
  • Schedule scripts for future execution
  • Assign scripts to managed macOS devices

This provides greater flexibility for automating maintenance and configuration tasks across the organization.

Homebrew Application Management

Managing macOS software is now easier with integrated Homebrew support.

Administrators can deploy and manage Homebrew applications directly from the Quantem console, simplifying software distribution across Apple devices.

Remote Device Actions

A comprehensive set of remote management actions is now available for macOS devices, including:

  • Sync device
  • Lock device
  • Log off user
  • Reboot
  • Remote wipe (Unenroll)

These capabilities help IT teams respond quickly to operational or security requirements.

Advanced Device Monitoring

Gain deeper visibility into macOS device health with real-time telemetry, including:

  • Battery status
  • CPU utilization
  • Memory usage
  • System uptime
  • Running processes
  • Thread information
  • Local storage details

This information helps administrators proactively identify performance issues before they impact users.

Application Visibility

Quantem now provides detailed software insights for macOS devices.

Administrators can view:

  • Managed software inventory
  • Installed applications
  • Application usage reports

This improves software governance and license management across the organization.

Event Feed & Device Logs

The Event Feed now supports macOS, providing complete visibility into both administrator actions and device activities.

Additionally, device logs are automatically captured and retained, making troubleshooting and auditing significantly easier.

Intelligent Device Alerts

Administrators can configure alerts for important macOS events, including:

  • Device offline status
  • Low battery
  • High CPU usage
  • High memory utilization
  • Low available disk space

These alerts help IT teams identify and resolve issues before they become critical.

Persistent MQTT Connectivity

macOS devices now maintain a persistent MQTT connection with the Quantem MDM broker, enabling:

  • Real-time command execution
  • Immediate policy synchronization
  • Faster communication
  • Accurate online/offline status reporting

This significantly improves responsiveness across managed devices.

Windows Enhancements

Windows management continues to improve with new automation capabilities.

Script Scheduling

Scripts can now be scheduled to execute automatically at a specified future date and time, reducing manual administrative effort.

Runtime Information

Additional runtime and operating system details are now available for Windows devices, providing better visibility during monitoring and troubleshooting.

Android Improvements

Several enhancements have been introduced to improve Android device management.

More Reliable SIM Change Alerts

SIM replacement detection has been enhanced for GMS devices, ensuring administrators receive accurate notifications whenever a SIM card is changed.

Improved Event Feed

The Event Feed now provides more accurate action tracking by keeping events active until their corresponding override actions are completed successfully.

Platform Enhancements

Faster User Experience with Server-Side Rendering

The Quantem Web Console now uses Server-Side Rendering (SSR) to deliver:

  • Faster page loading
  • Improved responsiveness
  • Smoother navigation
  • Better overall user experience
