Release Notes - Sprint 7

June 5, 2026

We're excited to introduce Sprint 7, bringing powerful automation capabilities, improved device management, and several performance enhancements across the Quantem platform. This release focuses on helping IT teams automate repetitive tasks, simplify patch deployment, and improve overall platform reliability.

What's New

Script Management for Windows

Managing Windows devices is now easier with the introduction of Script Management.

Administrators can create, organize, and execute PowerShell scripts directly from the Quantem console, eliminating many repetitive manual tasks.

Highlights

  • Execute scripts instantly from the Web Console.
  • View execution results directly from each device after completion.
  • Run scripts on:
    • Individual devices
    • Device groups
  • Track script execution status with detailed output logs.

Patch Management

Sprint 7 introduces a dedicated Patch Management module for Windows devices.

IT administrators can now deploy patches more efficiently while improving device security and compliance.

Key improvements include:

  • Simplified patch deployment workflows
  • Improved visibility into deployment progress
  • Better performance during large-scale patch operations

Built-in System Scripts

To simplify common maintenance tasks, Quantem now includes several predefined system scripts.

These scripts are hidden from end users and can be executed whenever required.

Examples include:

  • Delete Temporary Files
  • Empty Recycle Bin
  • Other routine Windows maintenance operations

These ready-to-use scripts help administrators keep devices clean and optimized without writing custom scripts.

Improved Device Inventory

The Device Listing page now includes an MDM Agent Version column.

This makes it easier to:

  • Verify agent deployment
  • Identify outdated agents
  • Troubleshoot version-specific issues

Bug Fixes

We've addressed several issues reported by customers to improve platform stability.

Platform Reliability

  • Resolved the "failure to get a peer from the ring-balancer" error that occasionally affected Dashboard, Kiosk, and Applications modules.
  • Fixed the Internal Server Error encountered while opening the Create Kiosk page.

Script Execution

  • Fixed an issue where the Disable USB Drives script incorrectly reported success while USB file transfers remained enabled.

Authentication

  • Corrected session timeout redirection issues on the SSO login page.

Dashboard

  • Fixed incorrect application device count visibility on the Dashboard.

Customer-Specific Enhancements

As part of our ongoing customer success initiatives, Sprint 7 also includes dedicated improvements for specific deployments.

wrktop

  • Added an Advanced Fleet Battery Report to provide deeper insights into battery health across managed devices.

GSS

  • Enhanced Remote Control configuration with support for unattended remote access, enabling administrators to connect to managed devices without requiring user interaction.

Performance & Stability Improvements

Alongside new features, Sprint 7 delivers several under-the-hood improvements for a smoother management experience.

Enhancements include:

  • Improved stability across Script Management and Patch Management modules.
  • Faster enrollment visibility after device registration.
  • Optimized script execution workflows.
  • Improved patch deployment performance and reliability.
